Two things that might just well go unnoticed; worth mention here:
1. Pune Police made their presence in the town known by executing a surprise Nakebandi s'terday (And I had to struck in the sun for an hour).Reason given for this : 'a routine exercise to reduce the crime rate and keep PUC under check?' ( what a noble cause, shud be given Nobel for this.)

2. Even as the Nation and Pune in particular was just getting out of Tendlya's B'day hangover, Our Lata Didi was admitted in her own Dinanath Hospital (and its proximity to my place brings significance to this news) for severe acute fatigue syndrome, courtesy ironical to her restless & exhaustive bid to raise more money for her hospital.

The World is a no more a stage...

That was true only in that good old shakespearean time but now the theory is changing. Its a MTV India era and it says The world is just a Show Business. A lot more about this

Not because they cannot talk clearly,
but because we do not hear them clearly.

What is your choice ?

The April 16th reading in the Courage to Change says
"I can either feel sorry for what I have missed or I can appreciate the chance to learn to love and appreciate myself. I do some of both, but today I know I have a choice."

A Perfect Chicken Soup...
Lunch With God

There once was a little boy who wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with Twinkies and a six-pack of root beer and he started his journey.

When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her a Twinkie. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Once again she smiled at him. The boy was delighted ! They sat there all afternoon eating
and smiling, but they never said a word.

As it grew dark, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave, but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever. When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?" He replied, "I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"

Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, "Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?" She replied, "I ate Twinkies in the park with God." But before her son responded, she added, "You know, he's much younger than I expected."

Quote: Albert Einstein
Everything that can be counted does not necessarily count; everything that counts cannot necessarily be counted.
It is a grand mistake to think of being great without goodness and I pronounce it as certain that there was never a truly great man that was not at the same time truly "virtuous". -Benjamin Franklin

Student Forever :
The Person in most confused state is the best student and an appropriate candidate to be taught.
I feel so many a times as confused as Arjuna (by my very little knowledge of Mahabharata) on so many a things that I feel this very urge of some Krishna reincarnating (if you permit me of believing into this scientifically so unrealistic phenom) and giving me the lessons; rather getting my fundas clear in first place.

A friend who is far away is sometimes much nearer than one who is at hand. Is not the mountain far more awe-inspiring and more clearly visible to one passing through the valley than to those who inhabit the mountain?
-Kahlil Gibran

Just took a note : >> more clearly visible in above
& note this in below.

Friendship is like bagful of glasses. One glass is the rearview mirror which helps you look behind while you are still moving ahead.Other is the crystal ball but the problem with it is that no one of us has this glass so we can never know what's instore ahead. So why not look at the present which is clearer than the crystal, so that when you will look back again at this present that is now it will be even clearer.
-Sandy Shahane.
& now note this : >> clearer than the crystal
So I think Kahlil Gibran used to think much like me.But doesn't the real beauty lies in being genuinely oneself ?
So I wish now if I could write like genuinely Myself forever.
The key to everything is PATIENCE. You get the chicken by hatching the
egg, not by smashing it.
-Arnold H. Glasow
The most surprising gift of all is the one least expected but most desired.

Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is a Mystery And Today ? Today is a
gift that's why we call it The Present.
